This is a cycle of six poems written during a tour of the Greek islands of Euboea and Aegina, followed by some places on the Greek mainland.
The tour was organized in April 2024 by Sofia Diocese’s tour company, Поклонническо-просветен център „Св. Йоан Рилски”, under the guidance of Ventzislav Gueorgiev Karavaltchev and took in the following eight saints: David the Elder, Iakovos (Tsalikis) and John the Russian on Euboea; Nectarios on Aegina; Ephraim of Nea Makri, Porphyrios of Kafsokalyvia, and Agathon and Vissarion of Agathonos.
The poems are named after the places en route where they were written and can be accessed here or using the drop-down menu:
Kulata (the border between Bulgaria and Greece)
Glyfa (where ferryboats leave for Euboea)
